Club Competitions

Bookham has an active set of monthly & annual competitions. Members are welcome to enter them, or enjoy the varied & often excellent photography and/or simply enjoy the Judge's constructive comments.

LIST OF TROPHIES & AWARDS

Charles Pollard Trophy
Awarded to the member in the Novice Class gaining the largest aggregate of points
during the season in open and set subject competitions for SLIDES (Novice)

Eric Warne Trophy
Awarded to the member in the gaining the largest aggregate of points during
the season in open and set subject competitions for PRINTS.(Novice)

Anne & Graham Peck Trophy
Awarded for excellence in printed and projected media, to the member gaining the
largest aggregate of points from his/her best 3 scores from print competitions added
to the best 3 scores from projected competitions (slides or digital.)

Percy Ball Trophy
Awarded to the member gaining the largest aggregate of points during the
season in open and set subject competitions for Projected Digital Images.

Gordon Stephens Cup
Awarded to the member gaining the largest aggregate of points during
the season in open subject competitions for PRINTS (Advanced).

Neil Lamb Cup
Awarded to the member gaining the largest aggregate of points during
the season in set subject competitions for PRINTS.(Advanced).

Egerton Ryerson Cup
Awarded to the member gaining the largest aggregate of points during
the season in open subject competitions for SLIDES (Advanced).

Derek Gardener Cup
Awarded to the member gaining the largest aggregate of points during
the season in set subject competitions for SLIDES (Advanced).

George Goodwin Trophy
Awarded to the most creative/adventurous photographer of the year.
Contestants are asked to submit one image or a set of PRINTS and/or SLIDES,
not exceeding six in number, to be shown at the Annual Exhibition. If a competitor
chooses to enter both a set of prints and a set of slides, these will be judged separately.

Joan Field Salver
Awarded for the best panel of PRINTS entered in the Annual Exhibition
(minimum 4 , maximum 8).

Peter Hyde Portraiy Trophy
Awarded each year for the BEST PORTRAIT IN THE ANNUAL EXHIBITION.
The portrait may be in colour or black and white and may be a
PRINT or a SLIDE. There is no limit to the number of entries per person.
