All club-level members who have not represented Bookham in external competitions are eligible for entry in a friendly competition against Epsom Camera Club on Monday 30 January 2012 at Epsom Camera Club, Longmead Day Centre, Sefton Road, Epsom KT19 9HG (off Longmead Road).

I thought now would be a good time to remind everyone of the rules to the set subject competition in January.

Landscape
A picture representing a view of natural inland scenery.

• Human-engineered scenery is permitted (e.g. landscape gardens and parks). (Practically all of the UK is modelled by humans so can’t avoid this!).
  
• Purely urban ’cityscapes’ and seascapes are prohibited.

SPA Biennial

This will take place from 27th March to 21st April 2012 at the Guildford House Gallery.

All members of SPA member clubs are eligible to enter although entries must be submitted via their club. That is, the Exhibition is not for Clubs to enter, but for the members as individuals.

We've recently had queries of what would be accepted as a 'portrait' in the upcoming set subject competition. We've attempted to clearly define what will be accepted - see the competition notes on the documents page of the website. We hope it will make everyone's life easier.

The programme has also been updated with this and other information. Be sure to check it out.

Lastly, don't forgget that the email address to which to send your PDIs has changed. If you send them to Barbara they will be lost in the ether!.
